Common snipe- thank God that we can see this bird. Read on for info.

One snipe for your fence...
Where did those two handsome-looking fellas come from?
The common snipe is common.

Noise- graty, metallic drumming by vibrating tail.
Eggs-   1
Size-25-27cm
Similar species- Wilson's, Pin-tailed and Swinhoe's snipe all are so very similay, with the Common closestly resembling Wilson's(in Australia it is definently Wilson's-no Common Snipe in Oz).
